Cache is located up Days Fork in Big Cottonwood Canyon.
Snowshoes/skis are recommended depending on the time of year. This
is a fun hike. Feel free to continue hiking past the cache another
half mile to see some cool backcountry ski areas. Mockba's Eclipse
Mine cache is also a good cache to check out a little further down
the trail.
I have changed my caching name (formerly bigben32) and decided I
should hide a new cache to get the word out. See pics for some
great cache contents. Included is a night cache. Please hide this
somewhere in the Canyon or in SLC and let me know when you do.
Please include in your log the date/time and temperature with the
included thermometer.

This was a beautiful afternoon for hiking in Day's Fork! I saw several deer in the meadows and had a great time hiking and finding a couple of caches. This is a great little cache about a mile from the trail head. I went on from here up to find the Eclipse cache as well (about another 11/2 to 2 miles up the canyon). Thanks for making this nice cache possible. SL, TFTC!

Beautiful hike with family and friends. Took a while for the GPS to settle down in the trees, but once it did the cache was right there. Thanks for maintaining a cache along this trail. SL - TFTC

Found the cash. I had my 2 brother-in laws with me, and we are no spring chickens, we are in our 60's. But the hike was worth it. We took nothing but left a glow stick. Thanks for the fun fun adventure...........Etrunner

We were camping at Spruces, and after waking up before everyone else, I decided that this might be one worth going for. It was. Sure it was a rough start, but after the hard part it was well worth the trip for a nice cache.
