Chuck Walla: Greetings from Geocaching.com!

Since you have not responded to my reviewer log about your cache, the cache has been archived.

Some time ago, I posted a note to your cache page requesting a response from you to post what you were planning to do with the cache on the page and to send me a note. I have no record of a response, and no response tells me that you are not planning on replacing or repairing this cache. If I am wrong with that assumption, please let me know promptly. I can always unarchive the cache for you if needed.

Sincerely,

Chuck Walla

Geocache Description:

Named for a bike trail in beautiful Springhill Park

We've been planning on placing caches out here for a long time. Lots of micros in the Fort Smith/Van Buren area and we thought it was time for a regular sized one.

This is a beautiful park with lots of camping sites.

This cache is placed along the 5 mile loop Golden Eagle mountain bike trail. If you are interested in off road bicycle riding, this is the place for you. My children love to ride these trails.
Trail is a very easy and pretty hike as well. In fact, we saw a deer as we were placing the cache. This cache is approx. 1/2 mile (guessing) along the trail. Your GPS will show it being very close to the restrooms, so you will be able to take a shortcut if necessary, but I would suggest staying on the hard packed path. The corps would prefer you to not create any new paths.

Be sure to check out the other caches I placed in the park.

I have received permission from the Corps of Engineers in Ozark to place caches in this park, and was told that all corps parks in Arkansas are approved to place caches.
