The Iron Mountain Lookout tower is still standing but it is no
longer staffed. There is no road to the lookout. However you can
reach the lookout using the Kelly Creek ATV Trail which begins just
west of Baumgartner Campground. The trail is well marked but it is
extremely steep and rocky. It should only be attempted by expert
riders.
