A nice easy cache hidden in the entrance to Phillips Hills Woods. A small box, not quite a micro, but only just a 'small'.
Phillips Hill wood is a fantastic place which is just a mile from home, we like to walk here when the bluebells are out. After I hid this one my gps broke, it was the last place I went to..
The cache isn't far into the woods, to prevent disturbance of the fantastic bluebells. However there's another cache just nearby. Take a walk though the woods to that one too 'Phillipshill'...and then onto 'Old Shire lane - Open air'...
This woodland is managed by the woodland trust - and is supported by volunteers. If you live locally and enjoy this spot like we do, then you could always become a volunteer.....
The cache is small lock and lock box with just enough room for a log and tiny swaps. You don't need to move anything to find it, and it isn't hidden under trees or tree cover. Parking is just about 50meters away - making this one dead easy!
