The Wapello County and
Surrounding Area Geocaching Organization, AKA WACkOSAGO would like
to invite you to Lake Wapello for a day of non-competitive
caching.
The posted coordinates will lead you to
the restaurant/lodge where you will register and have the caches
loaded to your GPS. There will be 10 new permanent caches and about
100 temp caches placed. Please bring your cables. Registration will
make you eligible for prize drawings later in the day.
This building is handicap accessible and
will be open all day as an event headquarters and the only meal
available will be lunch. 8:30am Registration & cache loading,
11:30am - 1:00pm Lunch at the restaurant, 3:30pm Prize drawings at
the restaurant. Prizes are for anyone 12 and up.
There are approximately 200 caches in the Ottumwa/Wapello County
area. We will also be bringing back the Kids Treasure Trail. There
will be 6 trail type night caches placed and 5 png that you can
drive up to. We will also have 1 very child friendly night cache
with goodies for them at the end of the trail.
