Geocache Description:

If you ‘know your onions’, this cache may be appealing (groan) to you! You either love onions or you hate ‘em. I dig ‘em! I’m talking about common varieties of onions (Latin name: Allium cepa). These are the kind that are eaten every day in a lot of dishes, either raw or cooked.

If you cry when you peel onions, then perhaps you’ll cry for joy when you solve the puzzle and find the cache!!! You will find the necessary clues as you dig deeper and deeper.

You may need a few good laughs while solving this puzzle; some peculiar laws relating to onions may be found HERE.

You do not need to go to the posted coordinates which are for waypoint one. But if you do go, you can describe what you found there in your log.

You need to solve the following encryption:

(Get started by using the ROT-13 cipher which is familiar to ..... all cachers .... who cheat!)

NOTES:

(1) Winter friendly.

(2) A good cache to start doing during rotten weather.

(3) Time required to solve the encryption can be as little as 1 hour if you go about it the right way.

(4) Time to travel from your car to the cache and back to your car is about 1 hour.
