You seek an Altoids tin painted to not blend in. Bring a pen. I have been riding my mountain bike all over these trails for years, and have actually built some of the new singletrack in the area. I had just completed a little loop that included a big drop that I built (about 100’ south), with a nice & easy return trail back to the top. A few of us more adventurous bikers were enjoying this little section until the big windstorm February of 2002 (or was it ’01?) knocked a big tree down and caused the rootwad to block the new trail, which has been reclaimed by nature. My friend Bob told me we could just scoot the root over and ride on. Uh, yeah, Bob. You scoot the root, and tell me how it goes!

After you find this cache, head down the big drop on the way to another well-rooted cache called Root Canal (GCKMDF). Heck, you’re also getting close to No Man Is One (GCJQR8); at least go look at it from the riverbank!
