Geocache Description:

NOTE: Please ensure that the lid is securely fastened on both side before leaving the cache. It may be difficult to do so, but it must be done to keep the container contents dry for the next seeker.

Big Brother (GC1DG8C) (visit link) has learned that he has a cousin. He needs your help in locating him.

Big Brother after being adopted stayed in touch with his sponsor and learned somewhere along the way that he has a First Cousin, Once Removed. All of this came about when, being an adoptee and being curious as all adoptees are about their birth parents and why they were given up for adoption, he became involved with an adoption search support group.

He employed a professional searcher who, after some time and considerable expense, informed him that his parents were deceased but that he had a cousin by way of his father's brother, that is, his uncle’s grandson, or rather his First Cousin’s son. He learned that, as is true in so many of such cases, that this cousin was located in the same city but a ways off. He also learned that his cousin was as ungainly as himself but had had a short career as a professional basketball player. When the Hornets left Charlotte he chose to stay behind taking up life in the forest which must be a family trait.

When you locate Big Brother's Cousin take a moment and regard that relationship. If you have visited Big Brother then you will be happy to have participated in the familial connection. If you have yet to do so, then at your earliest convenience make a visit giving Big Brother his cousin's regards.

The cache contains containers of various sorts that were given me as potential caches. I have decided that these will never be hid under my auspices. You may find a use for one or two of them as caches, in which case I will look forward to finding them and exploring the contents therein. Feel free to take any except the one containing the log book. If there are none left, please so inform me in your log.

This container is a replacement for one that was taken about the time the new disc golf course was being prepared. It should be far enough away from the lanes to not be readily seen. The date of the replacement was 02-13/12.
