ALL THAT'S LEFT IS THE TRACK!!
The Train Engine that this was attached to has finally met it's
demise..you may find pieces of it down the track towards the
elevator. The cache container is still at the location where it
stood.
The end of the line for a tourist attraction that ran for about 10
years. This has sat in the same location for about 5 years. It on a
dead piece of track..quite abit of the track has even been removed
east of the cache location. The railroad company will not let it
move on their track so eventually it may be scrapped where it
stands. The present owners are out of state and have no money to do
anything with it..so here it stands. I visited with the nearby
owners of the elevator.
Be careful parking as there are not alot of good parking spots
close..but there is very little traffic.
The contents of this cache are in a small altoid box with a
logbook and pencil. This is a LOG ONLY! cache so there is
really no room to leave trading items.
