Geocache Description:

An easy find if you don't mind prickly things.

Spring 2017 - Team drrichardh is pleased to announce, for the 11th year, we have been given permission by the Mitchell family to activate our geocache hidden on their property. We hope it is as enticing as in previous years. To get things started we have included our traditional "First to Find This Season" reward.

In past years there was a problem with the log sheet getting wet but this now seems to be fixed. PLEASE - Do Not Move the Container from its hiding spot. And please BRING YOUR OWN PEN OR PENCIL

After making a site visit on opening day we noticed the trees, which have stickers on their branches, look like they will be something to deal with. Once summer gets here, and this area is shaded by leaves, it may be hard to see the stickers. BE CAREFUL BACK HERE ESPECIALLY WITH LITTLE CHILDREN who like to explore with their fingers.
Here's wishing our geocaching visitors a fun experience while making this find.

This geocache is here with the permission of the property owners. It is located on a wonderful dairy farm that has been operational since the year 1796. This land has been farmed and maintained by the descendants of the same family for 220 years!

In 1996 the State of Delaware recognized this farm as one of the few Centennial Farms remaining in the first state.

The family encourages visitors between the hours of noon to 8:00 p.m. They have provided a small parking lot iwth a few handicapped spaces and lots of picnic tables. . Since this is a working farm, tours are not provided but cows, sheep, goats, chickens, cats and dogs can usually be seen from the public area. The old stone barn and various old stone out buildings will be intriguing to anyone interested in Delaware history. They also have a very small quaint store from which they sell some of their dairy products..

The cache is not in or near the store. You do not have to purchase anything while seeking this cache.
You are looking for a pill bottle wrapped in camouflage tape . . You should be able to reach it while leaving it in place.

Congratulations to Team Spero for being the First to Find for Season 10 of this geocache!
