Geocache Description:

The Co-ordinates are for the stepping stones over the River Mole near Box Hill(Dorking) in Surrey. This cache is a lot harder than that! Terrain/Difficulty is a lot harder than that as it is a "special interest" type cache in that it needs special equipment and training. Safety being the most important thing with this hobby you need to read the following information and not to venture above your trained or qualified needs in order to do "another" cache.

To start this mystery you need to look on a map about 100 miles NNW as the crow flies to a place that is sandwiched between the M6,M69 & M1 to a very Stoney place!

The co-ordinates in the vicinity are
N52°32.559 W001°16.501

These co-ordinates are for the middle of a quarry that has been transformed as a dive site. about 300ft from the above co-ords to the east is a pub! The slipway near here is where you can plop in the water and dive down to the wreck of the nautilus! The site maps will give you the correct bearing on an underwater compass to take from the slip way.
Being a special interest/equipment cache, you need to be aware of diver fees.

somewhere on the Nautilus is a laminated sheet containing the co-ordinates that you need to find the actual cache!

From the Cache co-ords at the top of the page and the fact that this could be called the 8th dwarf, it would be obvious where the final lays near!

I know that the distance needed to be covered are quite extensive to log this cache but its all good fun and some are harder than others!

Anyone diving in the above location needs to be qualified or in training to do so and diving alone is not permitted.

Keep it safe and enjoy both sports.

You could always turn up and ask another diver to write the co-ordinates on a slate for you!(The warmer option)! There is no addmission fee for non divers. You could always bribe someone with a hot cup of choccy when they re-surface!

If you are really keen then there are many organisations trained there and you could find it yourself or look up your local diving club nearer to home.

Potentially diving is a dangerous sport but with correct training from any recognised organisation it is great fun.
Good Luck with this geocache.....
