Krypton: As there's been no response to my previous note, I assume that the cache is not going to be repaired or replaced, so I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it

Geocache Description:

Come out and see some of the local whimsy, including a piece of artwork that ArnoldMHS and Cyan_Blue like a lot.

Yup, this is one of those gather-the-clues caches! The total walking distance is about 2 blocks, and along the way you'll see some favorite San Francisco phenomena.

Go to the posted coordinates, and collect the following clues. While you're there, be sure to take in the fun sight of the cable-cars being rotated on their turnaround.

A = The *new* cable car fare in dollars, minus 2
B = The time in the morning that the cable cars begin to run
C = The time that the cable cars stop running
D = The number of cable car lines in SF
E = The southern end of the Barbary Coast Trail is at Mission and ___th
F = The middle number in the CFR No Solicitors Sign

Proceed to N 37'48.ABC, W 122'25.DEF, to admire a wonderful piece of artwork that sits next to a famous building, and to gather the next set of clues:

G = Number of A's in the artist's name
H = Number of round flower planters within 5 ft of the small brass plaque with the artist's name on it
I = Number of mermaids, times two
J = Number of giant tortoises in the art piece, plus one
K = Number of letters in the first name of the woman who modeled for the artwork, divided by two
L = Last digit of the later of the two years on the aforementioned small brass plaque

The cache is at N 37' 48.GHI W 122' 25.JKL. It's a black 35mm film canister, and it holds a few small trading items plus the log and cache info sheet. No room for a pen, though, so bring yours.

When you're finished, you might be tempted to sample some of the local fare. Heck, you might even be tempted before that...
