Geocache Description:

Paved path, fairly flat terrain, Your dog will find those of its own kind.

Slightly after the invasion of Pearl Harbor on December 7,1941, Oregon put up defense to protect its coast line. PT boats were docked on bay of Coos Bay. Air Force had planes stationed, there were anti air craft guns, bunkers, bomb shelters and very important to this cache, gun batteries.This place where this cache lies, many a wake less night was spent. Continue your journey only a few hundred feet further west brings you the view of another bunker, this one a bomb shelter.
