In the Star Trek universe FERENGINAR is the home planet of the FERENGI , a species whose entire culture, religion and existence is based on the relentless pursuit of mercantile profit.
Excerpts from their holiest text, The 285 Rules of Acquisition:

1. Once you have their money, never give it back.
19. Satisfaction is not guaranteed.
48. The bigger the smile, the sharper the knife.
99. Trust is the biggest liability of all.
141. Only fools pay retail.

You get the idea… This cache is located across the street from the very northeastern edge of an area that could easily be anywhere on FERENGINAR. It’s available 24/7 but I don’t recommend looking for it after dark.

Mondays thru Saturdays during daylight business hours only, AFTER LOGGING THE CACHE: If you have the LOBES for it, go to the corner diagonally across from the cache and start walking WEST. At the first cross street, turn south. From there things get progressively more interesting. There’s block after block to explore, filled with sights, sounds, and yes, smells, seldom experienced by sheltered suburbanites. If you’re an out of state visitor, prepare for total culture shock!! A working UNIVERSAL TRANSLATOR may help. On the plus side, you’ll probably emerge with bagfuls of fun stuff that you never knew you needed. Hint: Don’t overdress or you’ll end up paying HEW-MON prices. Stay where commerce is obviously taking place. Absolutely avoid areas where people are just milling about. Go on Saturday for the most intense experience.

DO NOT - DO NOT - DO NOT - DO NOT - take the walk described above after dark or on Sunday. DURING THESE TIMES, that area belongs to the homeless.

Found with a great group of friends, most of which were experiencing caching for the first time. TFTH!

Ice Skated and ate at the two downtown events. Couldn't pass up a few caches before and after the events. Picked up the Japan TB for a little visit to Orange County. Thanks for the hide.
