Geocache Description:

A camo'd match container near a scenic spot on Coyote Creek

This cache marks a particularly scenic spot on Coyote Creek. It's a good place to take pictures. The creek forms a small pool here. You might see some fish in the water and birds swimming on it or wading in it. This is located along one of the nicest parts of the Coyote Creek Trail. The trail is lined with ancient oaks and sycamores. It runs close to the banks of Coyote Creek. An wooded embankment below the golf course is on the east side. Past the creek to the west are undeveloped ranchlands. Just south of here is the shady Sycamore Rest Area. As you ride or walk down the path, you feel like humming "Take Me Home, Country Roads." "Almost heaven..."

The cache is between the trail and the creek. It's not on the ground or in anything dangerous. Look for paths leading from the trail to the creek bank. There wasn't any PO near the cache when I was there.

Contents:
Logbook

Pencil sharpener (for the pencil)
4 small cars

Update: 4/10/09: The cache has been replaced with a camo'd matchstick container closer to the creek. There was no poison oak immediately near the cache, but watch out for spiny leaves.

Update: 2/26/12: I replaced the cache with a similar-sized container. It is not at creek level. You don't need to go down to the creek. There is poison oak growing in the area. There wasn't any right at the cache site, but it could pop out nearby, so be careful.

Update 4/23/17: I replaced with cache again. The creek flooded, but this spot is high above the creek. The cache might have broken off and fallen into the creek. It's possible the original might still be around. I just didn't see it. If the logs are before 4/22/17, it's the original.
