Geocache Description:

30 Cal ammo box. General prairie terrian including grass, sand, some cactus and the rare but occasional snake. Short walk from parking. Be sure to rehide well with local natural coverings. Very well stocked cache and very full - be sure to close the lid well. Watch for possible muggles. Pay close attention to the "native" signs in the area.

	The Cache Across America Series: This is a series of caches that will take you on a caching tour of the entire United States. One cache is hidden in each of the 50 states. These caches each contain a numeric clue that will lead you to one final cache located in our nation's capitol upon completion of the series.
	About this cache: Placed near the path that most take on the way though Nebraska. It is a shame that most visitors see our beautiful state from this narrow cooridor. This area is the southermost edge of the famed Nebraska Sandhills. This vast region of stabilized dunes covers more than 1/3 of the state. North and west of here is the North Platte River valley with lush cropland and stunning hills and other erosional features. Far to the north are the first rolling hills that become part of the Black Hills region and act as a gateway to the Rocky Mountains. Across the entire state is the Historic Oregon trail. Just southeast of here riders once thundered across the plains carrying mail for the Pony Express. Take time to visit more of the state than I-80 offers.
	Logging Requirements: Enjoy this cache as you would any other. If you are searching this cache as a participant in the Cache Across America series, please post a photo of yourself or a member of your group with the cache in your online log. If you for some reason are unable to meet the photo requirement, please make alternate arrangements to verify your find with the individual cache owner. There is no photo requirement for non-challenge participants. Individual verification of all 50 state finds will be required before logging the series final. If participating in the series, please take note of the three digit code located inside this cache. Save this code in a secure place.
