SROSP Trailhead cache Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Nazgul: This one has become too high-maintenance to keep making the long drive here to maintain it, so it's night-night for this cache. Hopefully someone else will mark this useful trailhead with another interesting cache.

Thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

A tiny micro at the trailhead and a large parking area for the 2,143-acre Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve. This location was really overdue for a trailhead cache.

Sign-only, bring your own pen. Removing the cache from its position is optional. It should be easier just to unscrew the exposed and visible lid and then use a little twig or something to fish out the logsheet.

There is a basic restroom in this parking lot. Nearby are two other parking areas, one for handicapped parking and one for equestrians. Park hours are dawn to 30 minutes after sunset. There is poison oak in the park but none near the cache when I was there. According to the trailhead sign, dogs are not permitted in this area. Watch for ticks and snakes in-season.
