How Geocaching Works
A small micro located along the City Arboretum in the NE corner of Scott Park. The arboretum, which was once farmland, now grows a different crop. The city uses this area to temporarily grow a variety of trees until they are replanted elsewhere.
The cache is log only; please bring a pen. Stealth may be necessary at times, but typically you will be able to hunt this one unnoticed. In the summer months, the brush may provide more of a challenge. Please be careful with the nearby fence and watch your footing.
Please use the designated parking area in Scott Park. Parking along Court Street is prohibited. Iowa City park hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Hunt this cache at your own risk, but most importantly, have fun!
