The Pain in the Cache series is designed to keep Geocaching a family and group sport. They all start with a bit of history or trivia and lead you to a muggle filled area. In almost every case the final location is a place your family can enjoy together. In fact, pursuing these as a group may have advantages as it will help you fit in. This is a mystery micro. It starts with a bit of Sparta history.
The first in the series is a two step puzzle. The coordinates above will lead you to a monument in Sparta. It was erected by James B. Titman Liet. & R.O.M. of the (xx)th and (yy)rd Regimens of the NJ Volunters.
Applying these missing numbers, the location of the cache is now:

Before you leave for the cache, check out our quaint Main Street. A couple of coffee shops and a few little stores. It will likely make sense to drive to the next location.
At the location of the coordinates is the cache. It is very small. It holds only a logbook so BYO writing utensil. It will not accomodate anything other than the log so don't plan on any drops.
