As you go about your daily business, sometimes you do not notice what is around you as you go. In my job I drive around San Diego... A lot. When I started geocaching earlier this year, I found myself looking around a lot more wondering, "Is that a spot I could put a cache?"
As I started finding caches, I kept noticing the Tuna caches and his rather famous Tuna views. I had noticed the virtual cache hunts in the Zoo, Wild Animal Park and Legoland. But you had to pay to do these. So I figured I could do one better. I would combine nice views and a virtual cache hunt.
Starting with the main coordinates and then seven more, find the signs. Near each sign is a view. I suggest you pick a clear day to enjoy the views, but it is not necessary to correctly play the game. Each sign is different. They are all, but one, traffic or information signs. No street names are used - that would make it too easy.
The order of the clues may not be the best route. Depending on how you route the clues, it could take you two to three hours to find all the clues.
I suggest you print this out and take this with you. When you find the sign, simply write down what the sign says on the printout.
Logos do not count. Or take a digital picture. You will bring a camera for the views right?
For example: Clue X : "Do Not Enter" would fill in the grid as below. Do not include spaces. The words do not have to fit the grids, as in the example - the "er" is not used. Using the conversion chart below change each letter to a number. Each clue will have its own grid. Convert the letters above to get the numbers below. A number stays a number. I have given you one letter in each grid. This should help you to confirm the correct sign. Also, the street on which it is located is given also. Apparently not everyone has Mapsource to look up the location. No cross street is given.

Now comes the fun part (well sort of). Fill in the chart below using the numbers from above. When you add the two clue numbers up and the answer is more than 10 subtract 10 as in the example.
EXAMPLE: X10(8) + X3(4) = 12. 12-10= 2. Use the 2.
This will give you the final coordinates (and another view nearby!).
