Geocache Description:

At the base of the hill

I used to go sledding here when I was a kid. One year, my stepdad bought me a Flexible Flyer sled... the kind with the steel runners and the hardwood platform to lie on. Well, the first time I tried it out here, it had rained a bit the night before and then froze. PERFECT conditions for this type of sled. I SCREAMED down the hill. Then I went past where everybody else was able to go in thier silly plastic sleds. Then I went WAY past where they were able to go. I was up on top of the virgin crust, still screaming out over the pond. Then, the worst happened. I broke through the crust at about 20 MPH! Oh!!! My face was blasted by that icy hard crust! My lips were bleeding, my gums, my nose! I was a wreck! And I still had to walk back up that beast! It still gives me chills!

Anyway, you are looking for a cammo taped lock-n-lock. it will be rough to get to it but it should be winter friendly.
