Geocache Description:

On April 17th, 2010 we hosted the 4th Annual Cedar Rapids CITO Extravaganza!

We hid this geocache to commemorate the CITO event which cleaned up a section of lower Van Vechten park in the wooded area where a lot illegal dumping occurrs.

From the parking coordinates (N 41° 58.245 W 091° 38.519), you will travel through the area we cleaned en route to the geocache - which is roughly a .64 mile (round trip) bushwacking hike! You'll experience all sorts of different terrain like steep hills, rocks, valleys, creeks, and more! You're looking for an ammocan.
