Geocache Description:

The cache is at the posted coordinates, HOWEVER, you must locate 5-Ball A, B, and C by TRAKD and find the appropriate combination to OPEN the cache. So, please make sure you FIND THE COMBINATION before making this trek or you will be sadly disappointed.

Yes, once again you must go to Taterland to find this little treasure. As mentioned above the cache is at the coordinates BUT… and a big BUT you must locate the combination to open the cache at 5-Ball A, B, and C. When the O.C.G. came up with this idea I had to place one of my treasures here because I have spent so many hours hiking these taters. The cache is fairly close to one of the numerous trails in Taterland. So, get out there and find the series and then take a nice stroll through one of our caching playgrounds. Parking is free and available at the trailhead off of Main or at the Horse Stables.

Yes, it is a combination lock… you all know how to operate one of those… right, left, and right… so your first right is the number from A. Your left is the number from B and finally you turn the dial back to the number from C. Easy as pie…

As you are probably aware by now members of the “Obsessed Caching Group” or O.C.G. have placed a number of caches throughout Sacramento, Placer, and El Dorado Counties. Each of us have placed a total of four caches of varying difficulties and sizes with our final or “D” cache being a puzzle of some sort. This is my grand finale “D” cache and it has another treat inside.

You didn’t think the fun would stop at my “D” cache now did you??? Inside, you will find a slip of paper with ONE digit of a GRAND FINALE cache called “Snookered by the O.C.G.”. This cache is located somewhere within El Dorado, Placer, Yolo, or Sacramento County.

You can find 5-Ball A at GCYPV1; 5-Ball C at GCYPV8; and 5-Ball D at GCYPVA. And of course don’t forget to check out “Snookered by the O.C.G.” coming soon.

Until I am able to get out to the cache. Subtract 2 from the number that is posted inside the lid. That new number is your number for 5-Ball A..

As always… Enjoy
