Geocache Description:

Quick grab if you can find a place to park. No need to leave the walkway.

Lot of controversy these days about the roundabouts in the county. Some folks like them, some don't. For our money, the one at Cordata and Kellogg has done wonders to reduce the traffic near the community college. The planners like it so much they are putting in another one just two-tenths of a mile south of this one on Cordata.

Going north on the Guide will never be the same when they get finished with the roundabouts on SR 539. The plan is to have one at the Ten Mile Road, the Pole Road, Wiser Lake Road, River Road, and finally the Badger Road. The other day we drove north to get an ice cream at the Edileen Dairy and checked the mileage between the Ten Mile and Badger Road. It's a total of 6.4 miles. That's five roundabouts in 6.4 miles. Don't ya know the truck drivers are going to like that.

With so many roundabouts in our future, it would be good to pull up a rock, and after you find the cache, watch how not to drive in a roundabout. There will be plenty of examples.
