It would be best to park at the end of the paved part of Big Oak Drive. To get there, turn off Route 8 (15th St. Ext.) onto Gurney Rd. Turn left at the first stop sign onto Big Oak Dr. This could be considered a nice, relaxing walk/hike/bike/ski through the woods. You may NO LONGER drive back the trail...New "AUTHORIZED VEHICLE SIGN" went up.
From where you park, just walk straight on the "trail" to the "View", then follow the gps'r. I have changed the location a little (again), so that hopefully it won't be as vulnerable as before. (The party-teens violated the cache, again. I could hide in a more secluded area...but, still want the cache to be available and family friendly.) The cache is now a plastic pretzel container. (I don't want to waste another ammo can in this vulnerable spot.) Since it is now in a different place, in a new container, feel free to re-find this cache. Please cover it up well so this may last longer than its predecessor. Enjoy, and Happy Caching!!!
