Short walk down a side trail off of the wonderful Snoqualmie Valley Trail.
Large ammo box hidden just a couple of steps off the trail. Thing 2 and I wandered down this trail one day when we were out exploring and she wanted to hide a cache there. She says the hiding spot is a treehouse for her imaginary friend, Dernell. If you see her, say hi from us!
Parking can be found at N 47 32.914 and W 121 49.707. Cross the road (carefully!) and find the path down to the Snoqualmie Valley Trail behind the metal barricade. As you walk down the trail you'll see a side trail off to the left. That's the one! Enjoy!
Oh, if you continue just a short ways down the trail, you'll come into a strange little clearing- check it out!
