The residential area Kaga is known for the site of the old 'daimyo' mansion of Maeda Families in the Edo period. The Shakujii River meanders in Kaga and flows east into the Sumida River at the north of Tokyo. Each riverside has space of recreation such as the promenade lined with cherry trees, and shows us the scenery of the seasons.You can enjoy viewing the fantastic cherry blossoms hanging over the river. Life of the spring color is very short. One week after the full blossoms, the flow of the river was dyed pink .
加賀藩下屋敷（別宅）があった場所です。隣接地には野口研究所などがあります。戦時中はこの山の中腹に弾道検査を行う為の標的塹壕がありました。滑りやすいので雨の後は注意してください。近くを流れる石神井川遊歩道は桜の時期にはとても綺麗です。
