Geocache Description:

The Arkansas Geocachers Association is having our 5th Annual
Hot Dog Roast and Campout event Saturday June 8th at Burns Park in North Little Rock.

Come join us to roast hot dogs and marshmallows around the campfire at one of the biggest city parks in the country.
The Hot Dog Roast and Campout event will be held in the group camping area of Burns park. It should show up as the BSA Camp Area on a map.

We will begin around 7pm and roast hot dogs and marshmallows until everyone is tired and ready to go on their way or hop into their tent. You do not need to be camping to attend this event.  If you are new to geocaching please swing by for a lovely evening of
'Meet and Greet' style entertainment.

ArkGeo members who attend this event
will receive 25 reward points.

NOTE: This is summer time in Arkansas.
Please remember to bring your insect repellant and sun screen.

The park has given us permission to camp in this area FREE
The fee has been waived because of our CITO efforts.
No reservations are required, but please let us know ahead of time
if you are planning on camping with us so we can send in a rough number to the Campground Manager.

A big thank you to Burns Park for allowing us to camp and perform a CITO and give back to this great park system.
