Geocache Description:

This cache can be accessed by the family car with an 18.5 mile drive mostly on gravel road from Highway 95 to the parking area. You will have to hike up a trail about 3 tenths of a mile to get to the cache. The elevation at the cache location is about 8350 feet. This cache was placed to qualify for the Idaho Forest Fire Lookout Challenge in area 5.

You are looking for a standard sized ammo can hidden in a rock out cropping. Distance to the lookout from the cache is about 2 tenths of a mile.

From the lookout you will have an awesome panoramic view of Hells Canyon, Seven Devils, Wallowa Mountains and the Salmon River drainage.
