This MD DNR approved letterbox cache is located inside Herrington Manor State Park. You can park fairly close. Please stick to the trails as much as possible otherwise you will miss the foundation. Terrain includes trails and open woods.
This cache will take you past what is left of the park's namesake. A picture of the original manor still hangs in the Park Office nearby. The stamp is of this manor house. This is a great park for it's year round activities. Visit in the winter and you can sled past this cache at the free Friday night sledding parties. Container is a Rubbermaid quart sized box. It includes a stamp that should stay in the cache, a log book, pen, and assorted trinkets. Please bring your own stamp pad.
