This is a celebration of the slower lifestyle we have in Florida. Life is hectic, so sloooooow down and enjoy the ride! The cache is a micro, but it's not in your typical Geocache container. We kind of like being non-standard, so we try to avoid cammo duct tape and keychain pill bottles...
The cache log is in a container that is anchored to the object on which you will find it. The container does NOT move. Open it where you find it or pick up the whole object and remove the cache log. The log is teensy and the thread you see attached to it will help get it out of the vessel in which it is stored. Take your time--after all, this is about slowing down, right--and try to put it all back the way you found it so the next person will be able to find it the same way! Please be careful with the cork. Don't lose it!
BYOP. No room for bling inside. Park on Edwards. There is no traffic on that road and there are no houses or buildings on it for several long blocks. The east-west cross street has a bit of auto traffic at rush hours.
Please let us know your thoughts on the cache and how long it took to find it. We need anecdotal reports to help make our caches as good (and fun) as possible.
CONGRATS TO STEELER1975 FOR ANOTHER FTF! The hint really does tell you exactly what you are looking for and, once you know that, you will have to figure out where that is normally found. You don't have to go deep into the woods. It's in plain sight. Like other pine-covered areas in L.A., this one makes our GPS do weird things sometimes.
