Yeonghwiwon

This is the tomb of Lady Eom,or Sunheon Gwibi as she is known by her royal title, a royal concubine of Emperor Gojong. The tomb of a prince or a royal concubine is called won.
sunheon Gwibi (1854-1911) was the mother of Imperial crown prince Uimin, who was given the title King Yeong or king Yeongchin. She became the favorite concubine of Emperor Gojong after Empress Myeongseong was slin bye the japanese who ruled korea from 1910 through 1945. her son was given the title of Imperial Crown prince in 1907 by the Japanese governor-general of Korea Ito Hirobumi and was sent to Japan in that same year to study. He was brought back to Korea shortly before his death.

Having an avid Interst in modern education sunheon Gwibi establshed yangjeong Usuk School, and Jimyeong Girls' School. She also mad a donation to help establish Sookmyung Girls' School,Greatly Contributing to the development of modern private schools.

Sunginwon

This is the tomb of Yi jin, the eldest son of the Imperial Crown Prince Uimin, the fourth son of Emperor Gojong.
Yi Jin(1921-1922) was born in Japan and die mysteriously while his parent were visiting Korea. He was buried here by order of Emperor Sunjong. The tomb was built in a similar style as Yeonghwiwon.
