[view this log] | November 11 by chaosmanor (3359 found) Hey, Robb!! I just wrote to Elin about how funny it was Webfoot and I came all the way out here to get caches in the farthest reaches of LA County for the quad challenge, only to find caches hidden by folks from the San Fernando and Conejo valleys Just so you know, if you ever get back out this way, we hid one more out here, plus a couple back in Rosamond Lake, so now folks have more options for these distant quads. The locals will get out here and hide some more, eventually; in fact, a new QHCoyote cache just went up this evening Sure was nice of you to hide a couple of caches out here for us; in fact this one is going to be our qualifier for the challenge. Very nice work on it; Thomas should be proud of it and how much he is helping folks with that Quad Challenge. Thanks to both of you!!
[view this log] | November 11 by Webfoot (2820 found) I was out caching with Chaosmanor today and we stopped here after picking up another cache close by. Or was it we picked that cache up after picking up this cache? Either way it was an enjoyable day out here in the desert on Veteran's Day. I liked the way you used the "local" camouflage to help hide your cache a little bit better. I took nothing, left nothing and signed the log this afternoon. Thanks for the cache. And since I found this on Veteran's Day, I would also like to thank Grandpa for serving in World War I, thanks to my Uncle Larry for serving in North Africa during World War II, thanks to my nephew who is serving on an aircraft carrier in the Western Pacific and thanks to my niece's husband, who served in Afghanistan.
