Achan Acres Park
Trails wind through the woods not far from the madding crowd. Cache is a camo-taped small container. Bring own pen. Deer tracks likely.
This cache is best for spring and fall caching. Mosquitoes may be prohibitive in the summer. In the summer use bug spray liberally.
Park is open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The PARKING is on the west side of the school and to the west of the retention pond. There is a short narrow dirt road leading to the parking with large rocks surrounding the parking area. The closest parking is on Hearthstone Drive, you will see a walkway behind the tennis courts leading into the park.
5/8/13: Much has changed since the listing went live. The city has created a retention pond. There is now a parking area. There are deer definitely here, tracks are all over. No sign of the muskrats and turkeys.
