This small cache is located in a cemetery off State Road. Parking is just off the road by the sign.
This graveyard is located at New West Grove Friends Meeting House. This Quaker meeting house was founded in 1831. Although the meeting house may look abandoned, it is still used for special activities.
Quakerism started in England in the 1650s, during a time of civil war and religious turmoil. It grew out of the preaching of George Fox, who rejected the hierarchy and rituals of existing churches, and challenged all people to encounter God directly and to experience the Kingdom of Heaven as a present, living reality.
There are perhaps 300,000 Quakers in the world today, in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and North and South America. About one third of all Quakers live in the United States and Canada.
The theme of this small cache is buttons, patches, and pins. There's not much room for anything else. First person to find can have the nice geocaching patch. Please make sure you reseal the container carefully. Items tend to stick out. Also be careful parking. It's easier to get in then out.
