there are several ways into the area - we parked at 35.56.706 115.04.891 but it's a pretty good walk up the paved little road to get to the trailhead - the trailhead at the water basin is 35.56.373 w115.46.590
This one is definitely in honor of Nevada Mike who has given so much effort and time to creating super-challenging-energysapping-musclerippin'-alldaysucker-not-a-sissy, caches that sometimes aren't logged for months or even a year - Mark and I were up for the challenge so along with Awaitingwolf we planned the trek to Misty Mountain Hop -about halfway I placed a cache was going to call it K-Pax 2 but after the challenge of only halfway to it - I decided to honor NV Mike and call it "Let's Go to the Hop" so whether you meet the extreme challenge of going to the peak or just halfway enjoy the scenery and the great trail NV Mike blazed for us.
