The new greeline is scenic between the prison and the Wolf
River. You will cross several wetland areas that include cypress
trees, turtles, snakes, frogs, and gar. Last fall before
contruction was underway I was riding the old train track path and
came across a large black snake sunning on the gravel. Later that
same day I almost stepped on a copperhead on same gravel (different
location). While animals will still be able to get onto the
greenline in areas they will be easier to spot once the paving is
in place.
This is a nice area and I encourage you to visit.
The easiest access point to the cache is here... N35 08.967 W089
53.065 at Podesta Rd and Boswell Rd. It however isn't the most
scenic area.
Be on the lookout for shadowy figures! :-)
