…Swimming By. Cache is medium Tupperware type hidden near a salmon observation point.

This cache was placed as part of the Fall 2008 Carkeek CITO.

During the fall, you can watch chum salmon (Oncorhynchus keta) returning here to spawn. Some history on Piper’s Creek and the salmon can be viewed here: (visit link)

The ground cover here with the milky splotches on its leaves is the invasive-exotic ‘creeping buttercup’ (Ranuculus repens). Learn to despise it.
