For why, indeed? Transit NZ spent huge amounts of money to lengthen this overbridge recently to accommodate the need for people to access the other side of the Motorway.Maybe to get people safely across to the other side in case of an emergency--eg.if the fishing gets really hot? Who knows?
The main purpose to get you here, is the amazing view of the traffic from the bridge. When its busy its a site to behold!Can some one take pics please.
