Geocache Description:

This important but totally non-descript bridge is located in a quiet residential neighborhood not far from Bee Ridge Road. A visit, anytime of the day, will reward the cacher, biker, hiker, or motorist with a fine creekside view and a plethora of feeding waterfowl and turtles. Phillipi Creek could well be renamed Turtle Creek. That would make Phillipi Island…Turtle Island. An occasional alligator has been known to navigate the creek as well.

Traffic is never heavy, but caution is always advised where motor traffic moves. Parking nearby is not a problem. The cache is a micro. It is located on the island side of the bridge. Bring your own writing piece. The cache contains a log script only.

Really, it might be a good idea to bring some appropriate food for the turtles. The turtles will appreciate it; you will feel good about yourself. Life is Good.
