On my way back down from checking on a couple of my caches on
McGinty, I decided to place a cache near these spectacular Agave
plants.
I don't want this to be a difficult-to-find cache, and I realize
it could be since there are hundreds of hidey holes.
While you look at and appreciate these fantastic plants, let
your GPSr settle and work your way around the east side of the
cluster.
There are some "ruins" there as if a small house existed on the
site many years ago.
The cache is near the Agave between a couple of rocks with a
piece of wood on the top. Be careful walking around the plant.
There is a beavertail cactus, as well as a Yucca, and all of them
have spines and spikey things that hurt.
This is also snake territory, so be careful, but have fun. I
love the patterns on the Agave leaves. It looks like modern
art.
