On top of Sand Mtn this is a great hike. Bring some water and pack
a lunch, oh make sure to bring the camera. At these heights, a
picture of Wytheville is a must have.
If you need more than a micro to get you through the day, then try
this one on for size. A very beautiful hike with a bit of elevation
change. You can park here...N36 54.382 W081 02.547.... I can make
it to the top in less than an hour. Container is a lock and lock
painted od green. The cache is right beside the trail. so it is
covered very well. Please re-cover very well after you find it. I
hope you enjoy this spot as much as I do. Alot of people travel
this trail so a muggle here and there could happen. If you knew Sam
Slemp, he work for the Enterprise. He is remembered at the top too.

Just a beautiful day to be out hiking and caching!! We followed a boundary line trail over from the Sand Mountain caches. No trouble finding the cache once on site...really pretty spot with a goreous view!! Took RJTB and left a coin. Thanks for an outstanding hike and hunt.

Co-FTF with EagleJ. Great day for a hike. beautiful spot, Left a Jeep TB for someone to find. Definately worth the hike, enjoyed the berries and the good times. TFTH.

Wow what a great hide but not as great as the trip up the trail and the view from the top. The weather was clear and we could see the valley floor. I would like to know how and who put that granite bench up there.
Angles and I were co FTF on this one. The low bush blue berries were so good and we ate all the way up and picked some for the pancakes in the morning.
I would rather have one hide like this than fifty microes.
