A fairly easy cache near the Buehler Ponds in Bedford, MA. Kid friendly. Perfect for a lunch trip.
The cache is Ziplock container that has a logbook and some small treasures. There is parking in a lot near the Fawn Lake Conservation Area. (N42°30.843’, W71°16.556’) The lot is on Sweetwater Ave. Across the street from the lot there is the entrance to the bike path, which used to be a railroad. The entrance to the Buehler Pond Trail is before tree marker # 7. It is a wide trail. There are some trails that lead to the Lane School that appear before Buehler Pond, so look for tree marker 7 so you don't take the wrong trail.
04/18/2014: I added the Cross Country Skis and Snowshoes Attributes to the cache listing. They are not required but with snow on the ground this is a wonderful area for these activities.
