If you are a boomer or older you can almost see the lights and
amusement rides around the lake where Playland used to be. For big
kids and the brave of heart there was the *Dipper*, a monster
roller coaster of wooden construction. For a slower paced ride you
could get aboard the miniature railroad train which would take you
on a quiet trip along the edge of the lake.
The park entrance is one block west of Aurora
at N130th and Linden Avenue.
On the other side of the fence is a schoolyard. During school
hours be stealthy. I have read about the teachers watching during
recess.
This cache has been plundered twice. THERE IS
NO NEED TO BUSHWACK. WHEN YOU GET TO THE TOP, FACE LEFT. LOOK
AROUND THE RAILING POST.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE IT
EXPOSED!
