Geocache Description:

A circuit of the Glen Artney Donalds and tops. This is described as a clockwise circuit. This makes a good walking day out, or can be split into shorter walks if time is limited.

The cache is at a tiny rift valley known locally as Rob Roy's Cattle Fank and is on the south western shoulder of Uamh Mhor at a prominent scarp of rock. There are a number of caves here. Although you can climb into the rift valley at various points there is a walk in entrance to the fissure at the eastern end.

A local told me about these caves years ago and I've always wanted to find them. Having found them, it's an amazing and totally unexpected place, well the effort of getting there.

As a starter here is one of the caves. N56.16.485 W004 07.341 This cave and the fissures are unfenced are not easily seen until you are right on top of them. Extreme care should therefore be taken especially in poor visibility. You will need to scramble in to find the cache. By walking along the top edge you should be able to pin point the rough area where the cache is located in the fissure and then work out a safe route to it.

**** congratulations to the Swedish Cachers on their FTF*****
