What Makes Oregon Green? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

DrJunior: Cachers had moved the cache, which made the coordinates incorrect; before we could fix that, someone removed the cache entirely. We will not replace this cache, but leave the area open for another hide. Thanks for all the fun logs on this one...they were truely entertaining.

Geocache Description:

A quick grab as you come into town, or a refreshing spot to relax in one of Albany's parks.

We've been wanting to put a cache in this area for quite some time, and may have come up with a way to do that.

Bring your picnic lunch and your paddling legs for a fun time at this park. The grass is green and the flowers bright as the result of good landscaping and tender loving care by the Albany Parks Department. Water is plentiful, but you should not be in danger of getting wet while finding this cache.

This is a log only cache, altho there probably is room for small items. You will need to bring your own writing stick.

Please leave the coin at the bottom of the container...it has been glued in for a specific purpose--not just to make you ask "Now what in the world is that there for?"

There may be muggles about, but most of them will be flying by and won't have a chance to see what you are doing. On warm summer days, however, there will probably be other picnicers about.
