A nice mountain top cache just a few miles from Lake Placid
This cache is located near the summit of Mount Jo, just outside of the village of Lake Placid, NY. The trail head for this hike is very close to the parking lot of the Adirondack Loj. The trail is well marked, and the view from the top shows many of the High Peaks of the northern Adirondacks. This cache is an empty peanut butter jar in which my family and I left:
