A camo’d, log only, 2-stage micro in a challenging spot. The last 20 yards is not for everyone!
The cache is located along a picturesque section of the Lamington River. Owned by the Upper Raritan Watershed Association, the Green Acre tract is the site of an old dam. We have enjoyed canoeing past here many times. In the summer this spot can get fairly busy with fishing and wading muggles. Park at the pull-out near Stage 1, it is small and may be filled during popular times. Stage 1 has the minutes for the final. Both stages are in plain sight with nothing to disturb.
The intended path to the final is at river’s edge. The terrain difficulty will increase greatly with inclement weather. Please be careful on your approach, especially during flooding, cold weather, snow, ice or rain. The last stretch is not recommended for small children or during any snow/ice accumulation. Be safe, discreet, bring a pen and enjoy!
FTF Congrats go to gl2bear!
