I went over to the Wienerdogs for dinner the other day. Donna and MR gave me a loaded .50 caliber ammo box and the logbook had their notes and paw prints of the mascot Chloe. They decided to title it "Evergreenhiker!'s Christmas Cache."
Initially, I scouted out a park by my uncles and it turned out to be a private park for neighbors so I decided not to place it there.
So I went up to Rattlesnake Lake to get the micro that's been bugging me forever and on the way out, I noticed a gated road and thought, "Hmmm...wonder what's beyond the gate?" So I pulled the Jeep by the gate and set out.
Soon I reached a fork past the gate and that was gated as well. The sign read, "Day use only, unless prior permission is obtained." Hmmm...I thought to myself, this looks interesting. A light bulb went off in my head...I remembered the views I got from Rattlesnake Ledge and had noticed a couple of little lakes.
I paged over to the map screen and viola!!!!! I noticed a lake on the screen, titled Christmas Lake. Wow!!!! What a coincidence! The screen also showed a smaller lake, but obviously I chose the fork that took me to Christmas and planted the cache. Have fun!
