The Rock of Gibraltar is a spacious and
friendly pub just north of Oxford ideally placed beside the
Oxford canal for an excellent cache fest opportunity for those
that like the numbers . It is
a family and dog friendly pub with a good selection of beers and
reasonably priced food.
The pub is ideally situated by being close to
Oxford with good accessibility to main roads being 6 miles from
junction 9 of the M40 and 4 miles from the A34. It has over 70
Geocaches within 5 miles and a staggering 220 within 10 miles.
On the down side parking is slightly restricted,
although the landlord is confident it wont be a problem as he has
had large parties here before. But if parking does get a bit tight
there is a large lay-bye just 100 yards or so up the road.
